Cultivar: Nocellara de Etnea (origin - Italy)

 

Nocellara de Etnea is from Sicily, and is used there primarily for green ripe table olives.  Etnea in Italian is Etna in English: these trees are grown in the region of Mt. Etna, the massive Sicilian volcano.  Hey, we have massive volcanos here too!
