Cultivar: Picholine (origin - France)
Picholine appears to have a lot of potential here in Oregon, although our trees are still young. They are growing well and appear to be winter hardy, even as young trees in a pretty severe winter weather year (2008). Kathy’s Grove: 10/14/08 |

Picholine olives are used primarily for making green table olives: Olives de Nimes. They have a distinctive shape: asymmetric and elongated with a pointed apex; but no nipple. Freestone. |
